Welcome to Xamodu. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our horseback riding lessons and related services. By booking or participating in our lessons, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking lessons, or participating in any activities offered by Xamodu, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 Lesson Reservations

All horseback riding lessons must be booked in advance through our website, by phone at +44 20 3521 9876, or via email at [email protected]. Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from Xamodu.

2.2 Payment Terms

Full payment or a deposit (as specified at booking) is required to secure your reservation. We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. All prices are in GBP and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

2.3 Cancellation Policy

• More than 48 hours notice: Full refund or rescheduling available
• 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund or credit toward future lessons
• Less than 24 hours notice: No refund, but rescheduling may be available at our discretion
• No-show: Full payment forfeited with no refund

3. Participant Requirements

3.1 Age and Health Restrictions

Participants must be at least 6 years of age unless enrolled in our specialized toddler program. Minors under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver. All participants must disclose any medical conditions, physical limitations, or medications that may affect their ability to ride safely.

3.2 Weight Limitations

For the safety and welfare of our horses, riders must not exceed 220 pounds (100 kg). We reserve the right to assess rider suitability on an individual basis.

3.3 Appropriate Attire

Participants must wear appropriate riding attire including long pants, closed-toe shoes with a heel (riding boots preferred), and fitted clothing. Approved riding helmets will be provided, though participants may bring their own if they meet safety standards.

4. Safety and Liability

4.1 Assumption of Risk

Horseback riding is an inherently risky activity. By participating, you acknowledge and accept the risks involved, including but not limited to falls, kicks, bites, and unpredictable horse behavior. Xamodu takes every precaution to ensure safety but cannot guarantee injury-free experiences.

4.2 Waiver of Liability

All participants (or their legal guardians) must sign a liability waiver before participating in any lesson or activity. This waiver releases Xamodu, its instructors, employees, and affiliates from liability for injuries or damages sustained during activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

4.3 Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants maintain their own personal accident and health insurance. Xamodu carries public liability insurance but is not responsible for personal injuries or property damage.

5. Conduct and Behavior

Participants must follow all instructions given by Xamodu instructors and staff. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any participant who:

• Displays aggressive, disruptive, or unsafe behavior
• Appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Mistreats horses or equipment
• Fails to follow safety protocols

No refunds will be provided for removal due to misconduct.

6. Photography and Media

Xamodu may take photographs or videos during lessons for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your likeness in our marketing materials unless you provide written notice of your objection to [email protected].

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and training materials, is the property of Xamodu and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

8. Modifications to Terms

Xamodu reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
